Job Description
As an SEO Expert, your main responsibility will be to improve our website's visibility on search engines like Google. This means you will help us get more people to find us online, whether they're searching for products, services, or information related to our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keyword Research: Find the words and phrases people are using when searching for services like ours, and use these to improve our website content.
- On-Page SEO: Ensure that our website content is structured in a way that makes it easy for search engines to understand and rank highly.
- Content Optimization: Work with our content team to ensure the articles, blogs, and pages on our website are optimized for search engines and are helpful for our audience.
- Technical SEO: Ensure that the back-end of our website (like speed, mobile-friendliness, and site structure) is set up properly so search engines can easily crawl and index our site.
- Link Building: Find opportunities to get other reputable websites to link back to our site, which helps increase our credibility and search engine ranking.
- Analytics & Reporting: Use tools like Google Analytics to track the performance of our website and identify areas for improvement. Provide regular reports on SEO performance and suggest changes.
- Stay Updated: SEO is constantly changing. You'll need to stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and algorithm updates to keep our site ranking high.
Requirements:
- At least 8 years of experience in SEO and digital marketing.
- Proven track record of improving search engine rankings and driving traffic to websites.
- Strong knowledge of SEO tools (like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.).
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and web design principles.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills – you’ll be explaining SEO strategies to people who may not be familiar with technical terms.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in IT, digital marketing, or other related fields.
- Familiarity with paid search (PPC) and social media marketing.
- A good understanding of user experience (UX) and how it relates to SEO.
