Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain the server-side components and APIs that support our mobile/web app, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with mobile/web app developers to define and implement the necessary APIs and data models to support app functionality and user interactions.
- Optimize backend systems and databases for efficient data storage, retrieval, and processing.
- Ensure seamless integration of the backend with third-party services, APIs, and external data sources.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms to protect user data and ensure secure access to the app.
- Perform thorough testing and debugging of backend components, identifying and resolving issues and bottlenecks to ensure a smooth user experience.
- Monitor and analyze server performance and usage metrics, implementing necessary optimizations and enhancements to improve app performance and stability.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and UI/UX designers to ensure seamless integration of the backend with the app’s user interface and overall user experience.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in backend development, incorporating innovative solutions and approaches into the app’s architecture and design.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and standards.
