Now Software, a UK-based Telecom Company, is expanding its team in Islamabad. We're on the lookout for an experienced Sr. Frontend Developer to join our team in Islamabad.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Development Efforts: Lead the development of high-quality, performant front-end applications using React.js and Next.js. Also Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and SEO. Integrate third-party APIs, aligning them with our product's functional requirements.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of front-end developers, providing guidance, code reviews, and technical support.
Project Management: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including designers, backend developers, and product managers, to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Code Quality: Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and maintain high code quality standards by enforcing best practices and writing clean, maintainable code.
Innovation: Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in front-end development and implement them as necessary.
Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and technical manuals.
Additional Responsibilities:
Develop new user-facing features using HTML, CSS/Sass, and JavaScript. Work with the team on UI/UX design ensuring technical feasibility.
Build reusable code and libraries for future use, ensuring all features are documented. Optimize current websites by recommending and developing improvements.
Check and test all new features before they are released. Work closely with backend developers.
Build responsive, cross-browser, cross-platform websites. Ensure websites are designed to maximize SEO principles. Provide realistic project timeframes.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in frontend development, with at least 4 years focused on React.js and Nextjs. Also Proven expertise in Next.js for server-side rendering and static site generation.
Leadership: Proven experience in leading a development team and managing projects.
