We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer, possessing 2-4 years of experience in software development on Shopify platform. You will be taking part in the discovery process of identifying client requirements along with utilizing your knowledge of progressive enhancement and responsive design techniques.
Job Responsibilities
● Producing high quality code
● Identifying compatibility pitfalls with older browsers
● Generate custom Shopify themes, and enhance existing templates
● Research, customize/develop and implement third-party add-ons, plugins, and other integrations
● Contributing to the standards of front-end development within the company
● Advising on front-end/UX best practices and ideal approaches/ techniques to use on projects
● Sharing your knowledge with other members of the team
● Producing high quality code
Job Requirements and Skills
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Web Design, or similar field.
● At least 2 years of experience in Shopify design and development. Strong grip on Shopify Liquid.
● In-depth knowledge of Shopify and Shopify Plus platforms, as well as HTML, CSS, SQL, JavaScript, jQuery.
● Generate custom tailored Shopify theme and enhance existing template.
● Strong application development background and understanding of Web Application technologies and techniques.
● Javascript knowledge and experience - particularly the use of JS on e-commerce websites and/or platforms.
● Strong knowledge of LINUX OS
