Job Description
eSpark Consulting Group is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Hardware Design Engineer to lead the research and development of advanced hardware designs. The candidate will be responsible for architecting new electronics systems, ensuring seamless integration with embedded software, and troubleshooting complex issues. You will also mentor junior engineers and play a pivotal role in the development and improvement of our hardware products. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the latest technology in computer hardware and a strong analytical mindset.
Responsibilities
- Lead collaboration with embedded software engineers to ensure software compatibility and seamless integration hardware.
- Design and develop complex systems and their printed circuit boards (PCBs), schematics, and overall designs.
- Utilize CAD tools such as Altium, Eagle CAD, KiCAD, EasyEDA, and OrCAD for schematic and PCB design.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose errors, providing technical guidance on repairs or design modifications.
- Testing hardware prototypes and analyzing and interpreting performance data.
- Preparing performance reports for presentation and revision.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing errors and suggesting suitable repairs or modifications.
- Overseeing the manufacturing process of electrical components to ensure they meet the design specifications.
- Implementing maintenance, repairs, and modifications to existing components.
- Keeping up to date with the latest advancements in computer technology and design trends.
Requirements
- Proficiency in design software such as Altium, Eagle CAD, Ki CAD, Easy EDA
- Capability to design IoT, commercial and industrial circuits for professional clients.
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
- Solid understanding of microcontrollers, embedded systems, and circuit design simulation tools.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills and ability to read and understand datasheets for Microcontrollers, Sensors, Memory ICs, and other drivers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to stay up to date with the latest advancements in technology and design.
