- Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related area) preferred.
- More than 𝟎𝟓 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 of experience
- Knowledge of system security techniques
- Strong communication and documentation skills
𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
1. Design, install and configure internal servers, network devices and firewalls.
2. Proactively manage and maintain server, network and firewall systems
3. Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments and contingency plans
4. Design and implement monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions that will make a hands-off environment
5. Define and document best practices and support procedures
6. Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenance
7. Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation
8. Assist with hardware, firewall, telecom and software vendor evaluation, recommendation and negotiations Mentor / cross train team members on existing and new technologies
9. Carry out special tasks at Management's direction
10. Interact with customers and staff at the technical level, as required.
11. Other duties as assigned
