Disruptive Effects is now offering a career opportunity to a Senior Laravel Developer who will be responsible for contributing to one or more ecosystems under development. An expert level of understanding of Laravel 9, core PHP and mySQL is compulsory.
Qualifications
- Creating maintainable, flexible and well-commented code based on best practices.
- At least 5 years of experience with and extreme knowledge of Laravel 8 with project examples.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL database, database performance and SQL queries.
- Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components in core PHP.
- Proficiency with RESTFul APIs Integration.
- Ability to solve technical issues including conducting research to resolve technical issues himself or herself.
- Ability to work with a team to determine the best solution and implement it.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a continuous delivery ecosystem.
- Ability to apply business logic to development requirements in a creative manner.
- Proficient understanding and experience with version control systems (Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket etc.)
Your Responsibilities
- Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code that can be tested easily.
- Work closely with service delivery teams to support product deployments to the cloud.
- Understand and use the company's technical architectures, tools, and techniques to build powerful, efficient, flexible, and scalable solutions.
- Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications.
- Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools.
- Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API.
- Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues.
- Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
- Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development.
