An SEO-Based Content Writer is responsible for creating compelling, keyword-optimised content that enhances search engine visibility and drives organic traffic to websites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write high-quality, engaging, and error-free content, including blog posts, website copy, product descriptions, and social media posts.
- Ensure content is well-researched, original, and tailored to the target audience.
- Conduct keyword research using SEO tools (e.g., Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEMrush).
- Integrate primary and secondary keywords naturally into content.
- Optimise meta tags, headings, and URLs to improve search engine rankings.
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to align content with brand strategy and goals.
- Develop and execute content calendars based on industry trends and SEO insights.
- Monitor and analyse website traffic and engagement metrics using tools like Google Analytics.
- Adjust content strategies based on performance data to enhance reach and conversion rates.
- Study competitors' content strategies to identify opportunities and gaps.
- Stay updated on SEO trends and algorithm changes.
- Review and edit content for clarity, consistency, and adherence to SEO best practices.
- Ensure all content is optimised for readability and meets brand guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an SEO Content Writer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, including on-page and off-page optimisation.
- Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz.
