The ideal candidate will have experience in creating SEO-optimised content for websites, blogs, and social media platforms, along with expertise in tools like AHREF, SEMrush, and Google Search Console. A background in B2B SaaS content writing or copywriting is highly desired.
Responsibilities:
- Create SEO-optimised content for websites, blogs, and social media platforms.
- Write compelling web copy and engaging blog posts.
- Ensure all content is original, thoroughly researched, and free from plagiarism.
- Conduct keyword research to identify high-traffic and relevant keywords.
- Integrate keywords naturally into content without compromising quality.
- Monitor and analyse website traffic and content performance.
- Implement effective SEO strategies, including technical SEO and core SEO practices.
- Utilise tools such as AHREF, SEMrush, and Google Search Console to enhance content performance.
- Ensure content aligns with the latest SEO trends and best practices.
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify and target relevant search terms.
- Implement technical SEO strategies to optimise site performance.
- Evaluate user behaviour to identify trends and patterns.
- Stay up-to-date with current SEO trends and industry developments to modify and refine strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of verified experience as an SEO specialist.
- Documented experience in B2B SaaS content creation or copywriting.
- Possession of industry-recognised SEO certifications (e.g., from Google, HubSpot, Semrush).
- Expertise in using tools and platforms such as Google Keyword Planner, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Moz, and Semrush.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with content management systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- A portfolio of published works, including at least 5 blog posts.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills.
- Current knowledge of the latest Google AI algorithms.
- Background in copywriting.
- Ability to produce engaging, high-quality, and original content.
- Understanding of various content formats (blogs, articles, social media posts, website content, etc.).
- Staying informed on the latest search engine algorithms and updates.
