Job Description
We are looking for a talented and experienced Shopify Backend Developer and Shopify App developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to develop, and maintain Shopify stores/app with a focus on user experience, functionality, and performance. The Shopify Developer will be responsible for the development and deployment of new Shopify stores/App, as well as maintaining and optimizing existing ones.
You will work closely with the frontend developers to create a seamless and user-friendly experience for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain the backend of our clients' Shopify stores.
- Develop custom Shopify apps to meet our clients' needs.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for both the store backend and custom apps.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with the stores and apps.
- Optimise the stores' and apps' performance.
- Collaborate with the frontend developers and designers to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify features and updates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Shopify Backend Developer.
- Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid and Shopify API.
- Proficient in JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with Git and version control.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
