Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shopify Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the Shopify platform, including theme creation and customization using Liquid and JSON, as well as the ability to develop custom apps to enhance our e-commerce capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid and JSON to align with our brand and design requirements.
- Create visually appealing and user-friendly e-commerce websites by implementing responsive design principles.
- Collaborate with designers to ensure the seamless integration of design elements into Shopify themes.
- Develop custom Shopify apps to extend the functionality of our online stores and enhance user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Shopify theme functionality, app integrations, and performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Shopify development and e-commerce technologies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development.
- Proficiency in Liquid and JSON for theme creation and customization.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
- Experience with responsive and mobile-first design.
- Proven track record of developing and launching successful Shopify e-commerce websites.
- Ability to create custom Shopify apps using the Shopify API and relevant programming languages (e.g., Ruby on Rails, Python).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
