Job Description
We’re looking for a talented and creative **Social Media Manager** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and elevating our clients’ brands on social media platforms by creating engaging content, driving engagement, and analyzing campaign performance. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of social media platforms, a knack for creative storytelling, and a passion for building communities online.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement social media strategies for various clients to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
- Collaborate with the content team to create a content calendar that aligns with marketing goals and client brand messaging.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, platform updates, and emerging social media channels to keep strategies fresh and relevant.
Content Creation and Management
- Create, edit, and publish engaging content across social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and emerging platforms.
- Coordinate with graphic designers, photographers, and videographers to produce high-quality visuals that resonate with target audiences.
- Develop and maintain a consistent voice and style for each client across all platforms.
Community Engagement and Growth
- Monitor and engage with followers, responding to comments, messages, and customer inquiries in a timely manner.
- Identify opportunities to build and grow social media communities by interacting with influencers, industry partners, and audiences.
- Run engagement-driven campaigns, such as contests, polls, and live Q&As, to build audience loyalty and encourage interaction.
Performance Analysis and Reporting
- Track, analyze, and report on social media metrics (engagement, reach, growth, etc.) and campaign performance.
- Use insights from analytics to refine strategies, optimize content, and improve overall social media performance.
- Provide monthly or bi-weekly reports to clients, highlighting key insights, growth areas, and strategic adjustments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role in digital marketing
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social)
- Experience in social media content creation, including copywriting, graphic design, and video editing
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and a passion for storytelling
- Knowledge of SEO, paid social media campaigns, and digital marketing best practices is a plus
