Job Description
Kestrel Education, a leading career counseling agency in Pakistan and global markets is seeking a creative Social Media Coordinator with strong skills who can manage both social media content and its creation in pursuit of our mission.
You will design and produce creative, strategic communication and marketing material, including print and digital brochures, videos, posters, ad campaigns, web content, social graphics, brand elements, and other collateral. You will also play key production and creative roles in earned and paid social media strategies for the organization. To be successful as a social media designer, you should be highly motivated, creative, and possess solid knowledge of marketing competencies. Ultimately, a successful and effective social media designer should be computer literate, highly organized, and able to work with little direction.
Responsibilities
- Research audience preferences and discover current trends
- Create engaging text, image and video content
- Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products and announcements
- Measure web traffic and monitor SEO
- Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
- Facilitate online conversations with potential customers and respond to queries
- Report on online reviews and feedback from audiences
- Develop optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
- Oversee social media accounts’ layout
- Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions
- Design print and digital materials including social media ads campaigns, brochures, one-pagers, banners, posters, briefs, infographics, and more.
- Provide logo, template, design, and photography consultation and support for multiple projects as needed
- Draft campaigns based on the latest trends and/or historical data
- Social media listening, analytics, and reporting for campaign performance
- Curate videos content for organization website/emails/social media
- Manage design file backups and audio/video licensing
- Remain current on evolving social media landscape and help implement best practices and industry trends
- Advise and lead event promotion campaigns on as needed basis
Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience as a Social media coordinator.
- Expertise in multiple social media platforms
- In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
- Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
- Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Multitasking and analytical skills
- BS degree in Marketing, New media or relevant field
- Strong knowledge of and experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
- Creative flair for graphic layout and digital content
- Knowledge and experience with Adobe Platforms such as InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and/or Premiere Pro
- Expertise in video analytics (views, engagement, drop-off) to inform new projects
