Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
- As a Lead Engineer, you should be able to prioritize well, communicate clearly, work across multiple facets of the project and juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time.
- Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
- Stay on the leading edge of development practices.
- Provide suggestions for handling routine and moderately complex technical problems, escalating issues when appropriate.
- Lead various projects across several teams to help create processes and execute strategies to ensure projects are developed in a timely manner with quality and acceptance criteria defined by the clients
- Determine the need for training and talent development
- Growing engineering teams by interviewing, recruiting, and hiring
- Develop plans and schedules, estimate resource requirements, and define milestones and deliverables
- Designs, develops and approves end-to-end functionality of a product line, platform, or infrastructure
- Lead and participate in complex construction, automation, and implementation activities, ensuring successful implementation with architectural and operational requirements met.
Competences - Skills & Knowledge
- Preferred 5 to 7 years of experience in the IT industry
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Must have broad and extensive expertise in multiple computer languages and frameworks specially MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals in OOAD, design patterns, MVC, data structures, algorithms, etc.
- Hands-on experience in Rest & GraphQL APIs development
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing infrastructures like AWS / GCP & Azure
- Moderate experience in DevOps especially establishing automation in Continuous Integration and Deployment processes
- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented agile environment.
