Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA expert to join our team. As a QA expert, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with the development team to define testing strategies, create test plans, and execute various types of tests to identify and report defects. Your expertise in testing methodologies and tools will contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Analyze requirements and prepare test plans/test scenarios, test cases and test data.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Well-versed in defect management practices, defect tracking, and reporting.
- Daily monitoring of defects/bugs deployments
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Monitor debugging process results
- Identify quality assurance process bottleneck, streamline the testing process and suggest actions for improvement
- Issue identification of any error, failure, stress, loading, volume, and performance.
- For specific domains (e.g., healthcare), domain knowledge may be required to understand industry-specific requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Job Specification:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related subject
- 1 to 2 years' post-graduation experience in a similar capacity.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test scenarios and test cases
- Hands-on experience with black box testing
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Possess Excellent English communication skills
- Automated testing knowledge/experience will be plus.
