Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Software Quality Assurance Lead, located in Lahore. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the quality assurance team in the development, execution and reporting of software testing across all phases of the software development life cycle. This includes defining and implementing quality assurance processes and procedures, creating and maintaining test cases, and providing reports to management.You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies, develop test plans, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software. This role requires a strong background in software testing, leadership skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in our quality assurance processes.
Qualifications,Experience & Requirements
- At least 5 - 7 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role (preferably in e-Commerce projects, products & services)
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of software quality assurance principles, software testing methodologies, and software development life cycle
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Experience in managing and leading a team of software quality assurance engineers
- Ability to create and maintain test cases, test plans and generate test reports
- Strong experience in testing complex web applications, APIs and database testing
- ISTQB certified and experience with test automation and scripting
- Experience in Agile and Scrum environments and Tools such as JIRA
- Experience in developing and running performance, load, and stress tests
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
