ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Initiate, lead and manage Project Test Strategy, Test Plan, RTM and various reports
Maintain an excellent working and project knowledge and be the go-to person/PoC for projects
Advocate and be an example of maintaining a healthy working relationship with team(s)
Support, lead and work closely with onsite & remote teams in dynamic Scrum environment
Coordinate with team comprising of BA/SMEs, Developers, UX/UI Engineers, SQE, Sales etc
Develop and maintain Automation Test Scripts using Cypress and advance frameworks
Create and manage Test Cases & Test Scripts at HP ALM, Jira, Zephyr, Wrike or similar tools
Initiate proper communications for getting clarification, QA Sign-off, Daily Defect Report etc
Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities for multiple parallel projects
Perform Manual, Mobile and Automation Testing using industry leading tools and practices
Develop timely and accurate QA status reports and communicate to relevant team(s)/meetings
Take full ownership of assuring quality for projects and keep team(s) updated
Maintain effectiveness & efficiency by understanding, delivering, & supporting strategic plans
Hands-on with various project management & productivity tools - Jira, Slack, Confluence etc
Champion, embody and mentor the Agile/Scrum way-of-life & QA best practices to QA team
Perform QA activities from Backlogs, Sprints, Epics, Stories & flow charts for parallel projects
Set QA project milestones, KPIs & OKRs along with ensuring all communications are facilitated
Create QA long & short-term plans, setting targets for milestones & adhering to deadlines
Perform various test activities as needed - Smoke, Sanity, UI, Functional, Regression, SIT, UAT
Schedule/communicate meetings with clear agendas, run productively & send minutes
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
Bachelor's Degree and/or PMP or Scrum Master Certification from well-known institutions
Hands on experience test management tools - Jira, Wrike, Trello, Selenium, Cypress
Perform Usability, Functional, Performance and Security Testing using leading tools
Should have a hands-on approach to testing and lead respective team(s) with best practices
Comfortable working directly with offsite/remote team of Engineers, Leads and Management
Ability to multitask and prioritize, while staying organized and detailed oriented
Exceptional analytical and problem solving and critical thinking skills
Experience with automation tools and testing frameworks using Cypress or similar tools
Basic knowledge of various technology stacks - AWS, APIs, DB and Git
Well-versed with various project management and productivity tools - Jira, Slack, Confluence etc
Have an outstanding people, leadership, organizational, and time management skills
Well-versed with Software development phases (SDLC) and methodologies
Team building experience with technical, non-technical & cross-functional team members
Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate and keep teams on course
Keeps up-to-date technically and applies new knowledge to projects
Ability to drive projects such that deadlines and budget commitments are met
Thorough understanding of project management, UX/UI, SQA and digital marketing
Excellent communication skills and must have proficiency in managing cross-functional teams
Good attention to detail with a result oriented mindset and strive to perfection
Have the ability to delegate effectively and make strategic decisions in critical situations
Available to work outside of the traditional hours and days to facilitate progress when required
Willingness to learn and grow along with mentoring the team
