Job Description
ITVerticals is hiring skilled SQL Server Developers to manage, design, and optimize databases while supporting ETL processes and reporting. These roles involve handling complex database systems, ensuring data accuracy, and contributing to data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Database Design and Development:
- Design, implement, and maintain databases using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Develop and optimize complex stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
- Perform database performance tuning, optimization, and maintenance.
- Ensure database security, backups, and recovery processes.
- ETL and SSIS Package Development:
- Design and maintain ETL workflows using SSIS for data integration and transformation.
- Ensure seamless data flow and manage data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Data Modeling and Architecture:
- Develop logical and physical database designs aligned with business needs.
- Ensure database structures are optimized for performance and scalability.
- Collaboration and Reporting:
- Work with business analysts and decision-makers to define data requirements.
- Provide insights through reporting tools like SSRS, Power BI, or Tableau.
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including versions 2016 and above.
- Proficiency in writing complex and efficient SQL queries.
- Hands-on experience with SSIS packages and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of data modeling techniques, including normalization and denormalization.
- Experience in database performance tuning and optimization.
- Familiarity with reporting tools (SSRS, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of database administration, security, and backup processes.
