We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Shopify Developer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Shopify development, a keen eye for design, and a proven track record of creating exceptional eCommerce experiences. As a Senior Shopify Developer, you will lead projects, mentor junior developers and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and customization of Shopify themes to create engaging and visually appealing eCommerce websites.
- Implement advanced features and functionalities to enhance the performance and user experience of Shopify stores.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and clients to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that exceed expectations.
- Optimise Shopify websites for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Shopify websites and integrations.
- Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in Shopify development and eCommerce.
Skills and Qualification:
- Extensive experience in Shopify development, including theme customization and app integration.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and Liquid (Shopify's templating language).
- Strong understanding of eCommerce principles and best practices.
- Proven experience with Shopify Plus and custom Shopify development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lead projects and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
