Job Role: Technical Project Manager.
We are looking for a talented Project Manager who shares our passion for travel and is committed to making a positive impact on the world. We are seeking an individual who is driven, innovative, and dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service.
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing various projects related to our travel insurance and assistance services. The role requires off the charts organizational and leadership skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities and Duties:
●Discussing potential projects and their parameters with executives, software developers, and customers.
●Planning out the blueprints for software projects, including de
fining the scope,allocating resources, setting deadlines, laying out communication strategies, and indicating tests and maintenance.
●Assembling and leading the project team.
●Participating in and supervising each stage of the project.
●Ensuring each project stays on schedule and adheres to the deadlines.
●Creating a project budget and ensuring the project adheres to the budget as closely as possible.
●Determining and overseeing consistent testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting of all products in all stages of completion.
●Tracking milestones, deliverables, and change requests.
●Serving as a liaison to communicate information regarding changes, milestones reached, and other pertinent information.
●Delivering completed software products to clients and performing regular checks on the products’ performance.
Skills, Expertise and Qualifications - Requirements:
●Track record of success in delivering integrated systems and products in leadership roles.
●Experience in managing integrated product solutions, leading the concurrent development of web and software applications.
●The candidate will have led or participated in the development of a Program
Management system.
●Experience working with agile, waterfall and hybrid project management frameworks, and with managing work and deliverables from stakeholders.
●At minimum a bachelor’s degree in information technology, software development management, software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
●Proven experience in project management and software development.
●Good working knowledge of project estimation techniques.
●Excellent technical knowledge.
●6 to 8 years of experience in IT; specific experience with retail is preferred
●Experience in delivering large and complex global programs/projects.
●Knowledge of project management methodologies with a flexible approach to their application.
●Proven track record of working with offshore teams to deliver multiple projects running in parallel.
●Strong understanding of cross-dependencies in large technical programs and resolving technical inter dependencies.
●Excellent communication, documentation, and problem solving skills. Along with extreme attention to detail..
