Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced **Technical Project Manager / Solution Architect** for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The ideal candidate will take ownership of managing technical projects from inception to delivery while acting as a solution architect, designing and implementing tailored Business Central solutions. This dual-role will require close collaboration with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders to ensure project success, from scoping to go-live.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end implementation, upgrade, and migration projects within Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Serve as the solution architect for complex customizations, integrations, and new system functionalities.
- Collaborate with functional teams to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business requirements.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to development teams and ensure best practices are followed.
- Drive project timelines, manage resources, and ensure deliverables are met within scope, budget, and deadlines.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and lead efforts to resolve them quickly.
- Offer customer support and training, ensuring users are proficient in utilizing the platform.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients during the project lifecycle.
- Engage in pre-sales activities by providing technical insights and solution designs during the proposal phase.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead, Project Manager, or Solution Architect within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Strong knowledge of Business Central development, configuration, and customization.
- Solid background in managing ERP implementations, upgrades, and migrations.
- Expertise in troubleshooting technical issues and delivering customer-focused solutions.
- Strong project management skills, including timeline management, resource allocation, and budget control.
- Knowledge of third-party integrations and extensions within Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Preferred Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Dynamics 365 Business Central projects.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Experience working with ISVs, Partners, and end customers across different industries.
