As a Web Developer at Thokmandee.com, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our website. You will work collaboratively with our marketing, product, and design teams to implement new features and ensure an exceptional user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites to enhance functionality and design.
- Implement responsive web designs and ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices.
- Optimize website performance for speed, scalability, and SEO best practices.
- Collaborate with the team to integrate and develop plugins, tools, and APIs.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform updates, and provide technical support as needed.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and work on back-end services as required.
- Support the integration and use of Node.js and React-based components if necessary, to enhance site interactivity and user engagement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, best practices, and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in web development, primarily with WordPress.
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency with WordPress, including theme and plugin development and customization.
- Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
- Familiarity with Node.js and React is highly preferred.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of web performance optimization, security best practices, and SEO.
