Job Description:
The Web Development Manager will oversee the design, development, and maintenance of all web applications, websites, and related digital platforms. This role will involve managing a team of web developers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet high standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and mentor the web development team, providing guidance, technical support, and fostering a collaborative environment.
· Lead the design, development, and maintenance of web applications and websites, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions.
· Ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all web projects, optimize content for search engines, and collaborate with content teams to improve engagement and rankings.
· Maintain coding standards, conduct code reviews, and provide hands-on support in both front-end and back-end development.
· Monitor website performance, optimize speed and usability, and implement improvements for a seamless user experience across devices.
· Work with product managers, designers, and marketing teams to define requirements, ensure alignment with business goals, and deliver results.
· Stay updated on web development trends, tools, and technologies, leading the adoption of new solutions to improve team efficiency and project outcomes.
· Ensure web projects adhere to security best practices and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
Preferred Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
· Proven experience (5+ years) in web development, with at least 3+ years in a managerial or leadership role.
· Solid understanding of web performance optimization, SEO principles, and cross-browser compatibility.
· Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
· Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and collaboration with design teams.
