Job Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a WordPress backend developer located in Lahore. The candidate will work as part of a team of developers responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining WordPress websites and plugins. The role requires an individual with strong skills in PHP development, WordPress core development, and plugin development, and experience with custom post types, custom taxonomies, WooCommerce, and other common WordPress plugins.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in WordPress development, with a focus on backend development
- Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, WordPress core, and plugin development
- Experience with custom post types and custom taxonomies, WooCommerce, and other common WordPress plugins
- Experience building custom WordPress plugins from scratch
- Experience with Git, SVN, and other version control systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug code
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is a plus
