Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop Custom WordPress Themes and Plugins: Create custom WordPress themes and plugins to improve website functionality and user experience.

2. Customize Themes and Templates: Adapt pre-existing themes and templates to meet specific project requirements.

3. Collaborate with Design and Content Teams: Work closely with design and content teams to ensure seamless integration of design, functionality, and user experience on websites, with a focus on SEO optimization.

4. Optimize Website Performance: Optimize websites for speed, performance, and responsiveness to deliver an excellent user experience and improve SEO rankings.

5. SEO Implementation: Utilize your knowledge and experience of SEO principles to enhance website visibility, rankings, and traffic from the outset of development.

6. Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Identify and troubleshoot issues related to WordPress websites, plugins, and server configurations to ensure smooth operation, including SEO-related concerns.

7. Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in WordPress development and SEO to continuously improve our online presence.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in WordPress development with a strong emphasis on SEO.
• Strong proficiency in WordPress, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
• Experience with custom theme and plugin development is essential.
• Knowledge of responsive design principles to create websites that work well on various devices.
• Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, Beaver Builder, or WPBakery.
• Proficient understanding of SEO principles and their practical application in web development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to resolve technical issues effectively.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• A solid understanding of relational databases is a plus.
