As a WordPress Developer at Markalytics, you will be a key contributor in the creation of WordPress solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include developing custom WordPress plugins and themes, translating designs into functional websites, and ensuring optimal website performance. Your expertise will be pivotal in delivering outstanding digital experiences for our diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop custom WordPress plugins and themes from scratch or adapt existing ones to align with project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with our design team to transform Figma or PSD design files into responsive and pixel-perfect WordPress websites.
- Optimize website performance and ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and bugs in WordPress websites.
- Stay informed about industry trends and adhere to WordPress best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team on WordPress-related projects.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain high code quality and consistency.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Plugin, Theme, and Designer, supported by a robust portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL.
- In-depth knowledge of WordPress core, hooks, and APIs.
- Familiarity with popular WordPress plugins and libraries.
- Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to lead client meetings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Click Up, Project Management and off-page SEO would be a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in WordPress custom development.
